FEDORA Welcomes Roger Vivier as a New Corporate Member: Stepping Into a Shared Vision of Creativity and Excellence
FEDORA's Philanthropists
Founded in Paris in 1937 by visionary shoemaker Roger Vivier, the Maison has long stood at the crossroads of innovation and artistry. Roger Vivier revolutionised modern shoemaking through sculptural silhouettes, refined materials, and groundbreaking designs, including the invention of the modern stiletto heel in the 1950s.
The House’s legacy is inseparable from some of the most iconic moments in fashion history. From the timeless Belle Vivier pump, first introduced in the 1960s and later immortalised on screen by Catherine Deneuve, Roger Vivier has consistently shaped the visual language of modern elegance.
Today, under the creative direction of Gherardo Felloni, the Maison continues to reinvent its heritage with a contemporary sensibility, blending fantasy, craftsmanship, and innovation while preserving the spirit of its founder’s sculptural approach to footwear.
By joining FEDORA, Roger Vivier strengthens a shared mission to support artistic excellence and cultural innovation across Europe.
Together, FEDORA and Roger Vivier look forward to fostering new dialogues between fashion, performance, and artistic creation, building bridges between tradition and contemporary expression.
We are honoured to welcome Roger Vivier into the FEDORA community.
